In April of 1993, I began hearing an instruction to begin a new ministry with an emphasis on unity in the body of Christ. The result was a mission statement that called for "Unity, In Christ, Through The Holy Spirit." Acts Ministry was born when it was incorporated in August of that same year.
Acts Ministry has been ordaining men and women across the United States and on foreign fields since 1993.
- We have never charged for license or ordination
- We have never charged for 501 (c) (3) covering
- We have never charged for referrals
Those who are licensed or ordained are required to maintain connection with the headquarters by reporting four time each year, and the ministries under the Acts tax-exempt covering are to report quarterly plus provide a copy of their 990 IRS filing. Connection is necessary in order to insure accountability.
Please give heed to the following: I received a clear mandate for the Holy Spirit concerning the formation of Acts Ministry ... and that mandate carried with it the responsibility to offer independent ministers, churches, and ministries the opportunity to be connected in a Christian networking effort where there is accounatability. I was distinctly informed that the independence of the independent ministers was their greatest weakness and posed the foremost danger to their effectiveness for the gospel.
Acts Ministry, Inc. is not "my ministry." It has never carried my name in its title or even as a dba. It is a movement larger than me, and larger than I will ever be in this life. There is a definite leadership in place and the people are leaders, not figure heads. When my time is done, the current president (with the consent of the board) will name a replacement to serve as the Chief Operating Officer.
January of 2012 marks the beginning of my 58th year in ministry. If you want to benefit from what I have learned, feel free to use my personal email. The address is drpaulcollins@sbcglobal.net.
